You must act responsibly and sensibly at all times.
You must not participate if you are pregnant or under the influence of alcohol or drugs which would impair your horse-riding abilities.
You must follow any safety warnings or instructions displayed or given to you by a member of staff. This is to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
We are not qualified to express an opinion that you are fit to safely participate. You must obtain professional or specialist advice from your instructor, trainer or doctor before participating.
Appropriate helmets, footwear and clothing must be worn at all times when mounted. Skull caps and back protectors are compulsory when using the cross-country.
Riders are recommended to have their own appropriate accident insurance cover.
If you or someone you live with have respiratory problems or a fever unfortunately you cannot use the facilities at this time. This is to ensure your own safety and the safety of others.
Upon arrival you should immediately clean your hands with disinfectant (alcohol-based hand rub). We will endeavour to provide hand sanitiser around the facilities but you should also carry your own. Do not shake hands with others.
When coughing or sneezing cover your mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue.
Keep your distance from others – the minimum is 2 meters.
Only 1 rider and 1 trainer/groom are allowed per horse.
It is strongly recommended that all riders have supervision while jumping and riders under 18 must be supervised.
Check in advance which arena you have made the reservation for and follow the corresponding parking signs upon arrival. 5 minutes before your allocated time you can enter the parking lot by vehicle, tack up your horse and head to the arena you have rented i.e. the cross country field, grass or sand arena
You can make changes to the names of the rider and/or groom up to 8pm the evening before your booking. Only people with their names submitted on your reservation will be allowed to enter Killossery Lodge Stud.
As soon as you have finished your training please leave Killossery Lodge Stud immediately within your time slot.
There will be no wash down facilities at the moment – please bring your own water, buckets etc
There are toilet facilities located in the car park. We would ask that you do not enter the indoor arena or stable area.
Please do not leave any rubbish behind in the parking area. Bins are provided in the car park.
Please do not allow your horse to graze.
When cruelty to horses is detected, those involved may be asked to leave and will be reported to the authorities.
